Terms of service
These terms apply to businesses that use AIP, provided by MakeleleTech, Tanzania. If your business has a signed agreement with MakeleleTech, that agreement applies first and these terms fill any gaps.
1. The service
AIP answers your customers on the channels you connect, books appointments, follows up and reports to you, within the rules and limits you set. Each business has its own AIP, which MakeleleTech builds, runs and supports.
2. Your accounts and connections
- You connect only accounts your business owns or is allowed to use, and you keep them in good standing.
- You can disconnect any account at any time. Features that need it stop until you connect it again.
- Keep your AIP sign-in private and turn on two-step sign-in. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
3. Your responsibilities
- Use AIP lawfully, including Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act, 2022.
- Follow the rules of the platforms you connect, including Meta's WhatsApp Business and Platform policies, Google's terms and Notion's terms.
- Send offers only to people who agreed to receive them, and honour requests to stop.
- Keep the information AIP uses about your business (prices, services, hours) correct.
4. Automated replies
AIP writes replies automatically, using the information and rules you give it. You can review, pause or stop automation at any time. You remain responsible for what is sent on your behalf; tell us about any wrong reply so we can correct it.
5. Availability
We work to keep AIP available and to fix problems quickly, but connected services (Meta, Google, Notion, AI providers, hosting) can be unavailable or change their rules, which may limit what AIP can do.
6. Fees
Fees, and the costs of the accounts your business holds with other providers, are as agreed with MakeleleTech.
7. Ending the service
Either side may end the service as agreed. On ending, your data is returned to you or deleted, and the connections are removed.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, MakeleleTech is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by connected services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
